Optional pathway · African opportunities
Share an Opportunity
This is an optional longer pathway for project owners, businesses and sponsors. Sharing high-level information helps me understand the opportunity, its market context and the kind of relationships and specialist capability it may need around it.
What this is — and is not
A starting point for a conversation, not a funding application.
Many strong African opportunities simply lack the ecosystem around them: the partners, stakeholders, specialist capability and relationships that allow them to be understood by the people they are genuinely relevant to.
Sharing an opportunity helps me understand it in context. It is not an assessment of investment suitability, readiness or merit, and it is not a review by any professional adviser.
A submission does not guarantee funding, capital, introductions, partnerships, transactions or any commercial outcome, and not every opportunity shared will be taken further.
Nothing here constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax or other regulated professional advice. No investment suitability assessment, valuation or due diligence is performed. Specialist work is undertaken by appropriately qualified and, where required, authorised professionals.
Nothing you share is published. Please do not submit confidential third-party information without the authority to do so.
What helps me understand it
Six things worth describing.
The organisation
Who is behind the opportunity, what they have built and what they are trying to achieve.
Market context
The jurisdiction, stakeholders and local realities the opportunity has to operate within.
Commercial logic
How the opportunity is intended to work commercially, described in your own terms.
Relationships needed
The partners, capital relationships or strategic counterparts that may be relevant.
Specialist capability
Where qualified legal, technical, financial or regulatory professionals may need to be involved.
Available information
What documentation already exists, so informed questions can be answered by the right people.
