About

I build ecosystems around opportunities — not simply introductions between people.

Relationships have been the thread running through my career. My work today is to use that experience to build ecosystems around African and international opportunities.

In my own words

Relationships have been the thread running through my career.

For more than a decade, I have worked across industries, organisations and markets, building relationships between people and opportunities that may otherwise never have found one another.

My experience has taught me that meaningful business rarely happens through an introduction alone. It requires trust, context, shared purpose, the right expertise and a clear reason for people to work together.

Today, I use that experience to build ecosystems around African and international opportunities — connecting businesses, project owners, capital relationships, strategic partners, governments, industry networks and specialist professionals where there is genuine strategic alignment.

I do not seek to be the specialist in every discipline. My strength is understanding the wider ecosystem and helping bring the appropriate relationships and capabilities into the conversation.

How I work

Four principles that shape every relationship.

Relationships before transactions

Trust is the scarcest asset in cross-border work. It is built slowly, held carefully and never traded for short-term advantage.

Context before conclusions

African markets are not interchangeable. Regulation, currency, stakeholders and local realities all shape what is genuinely possible.

Alignment before introductions

An introduction without a shared reason to work together wastes everyone's time. Alignment is what makes a conversation worth having.

Expertise where it belongs

Specialist questions belong with specialists. My role is to recognise when that expertise is needed and to bring it into the ecosystem.

The boundaries of my role

Clear about what I do — and what I do not.

My role is ecosystem building, strategic relationship development, opportunity origination, market connectivity, stakeholder alignment and facilitating meaningful engagement.

I am not a financial, investment, legal, tax, technical or engineering adviser, and I do not hold myself out as a regulated professional adviser or financial services provider. Specialist work is undertaken by appropriately qualified and, where required, authorised professionals.

“Meaningful business rarely happens through an introduction alone. It happens when people have a real reason to work together.”
